Executive Summary

BAMEDCA organized a landmark prize award ceremony celebrating the academic achievements of students from the College of Commerce Mendankwe, while providing scholarships to outstanding students in financial need. The program affirmed the community’s investment in the next generation of leaders.

Problem Statement

Many academically talented students in Bamendankwe struggle to continue their education due to financial constraints. Without recognition and financial support, high-performing students lose motivation and bright futures are cut short by poverty rather than ability.

Objectives

  • Recognize and celebrate academic excellence among Bamendankwe students
  • Award scholarships to high-performing students with financial need
  • Inspire a culture of academic excellence within the community
  • Strengthen ties between BAMEDCA and educational institutions in Bamendankwe

Target Beneficiaries

Students of the College of Commerce Mendankwe and other secondary school students from Bamendankwe, particularly those from low-income households.

600+ students enrolled at Government Secondary School Abangoh, their teachers, and the broader Bamendankwe community.
