BAMEDCA successfully built two additional classrooms at Government Secondary School Abangoh, significantly improving the learning environment for hundreds of students. The project was driven by severe overcrowding and the community’s belief that quality education is the foundation of long-term development.
Government Secondary School Abangoh was operating with critically inadequate classroom space, forcing students to learn in overcrowded conditions that compromised teaching quality and student performance. The shortage of classrooms also meant some classes had to be held outdoors or in shifts.
600+ students enrolled at Government Secondary School Abangoh, their teachers, and the broader Bamendankwe community.
Early engagement with school administration and local government ensured smoother project execution. Community fundraising across all branches significantly accelerated the timeline. Future projects will incorporate student feedback from the start
