Many couples in Bamendankwe lacked legally recognized marriages, leaving spouses and children vulnerable to inheritance disputes, property loss, and other legal challenges. To address this challenge, BAMEDCA partnered with the Bamenda I Council to facilitate and promote the legalization of marriages within the community.
No Problems
More than 300 couples have had their marriages legally recognized through this initiative, strengthening legal protection for families, safeguarding the rights of women and children, and promoting greater family stability and social inclusion within the community.
