BAMEDCA is constructing a water catchment system to improve clean water access across Bamendankwe. The project targets quarters that currently depend on unsafe water sources, aiming to reduce waterborne diseases and ease the burden on women and children who travel long distances to fetch water.
Several quarters in Bamendankwe lack reliable access to clean drinking water. Residents particularly women and children spend significant time and energy fetching water from distant or contaminated sources, negatively impacting health, school attendance, and productivity.
Approximately 5,000 residents across 10 underserved quarters of Bamendankwe, with priority given to households with children and elderly members.
Your contribution directly funds construction materials and skilled labor. A donation of $100 covers a full load of building blocks. $500 sponsors an entire room. To make a larger contribution or sponsor a section of the building, contact us at info@bamedca.org or use the donation panel on this page. Every amount matters this centre belongs to all of us
